This is not to do with Instagram but here is a promotional activity on Facebook. Boost are encouraging their Facebook audience to download the app as they will only receive this reward by doing so.

#ForkCancer
This image has been showing up quite a lot on my Instagram and Facebook feed as a sponsored post and i have also seen this advertised on Tv. The Longest table is a an event aimed to raise money to fight cancer where people can host one of these events or simply donate to one of the charities that they are fundraising for. They have been promoting the pun/hashtag #forkCancer on all social media platforms which is a very straightforward and powerful message that would connect to many people.

Cadbury meets Oreo
Cadbury have been using their Facebook page to advertise their new range of Oreo chocolate blocks. They have used emojis to give Oreo and Cadbury their own personas and have introduced this new product as a newly formed friendship of the two brands. The image above is from Cadbury Dairy Milk's facebook page displaying how Oreo and Cadbury are now officially facebook friends. They made the two brands appear as though they are actually people becoming friends on facebook. I really like how they have done this and i think it is quite a clever and funny way to connect to their target audience through the use of social media.

Instagrams Analytics tools are coming...
Here is an article about about the new analytics tools that
will soon be coming to Instagram. Updates to brand profiles are also discussed,
which includes a new 'Contact' button on Instagram profiles
allowing people to directly email a business from there. There will also
be a 'business categorisation' field that will help users find particular
brands and improve location listings.

Choc Top Challenge
I recently picked this card up at event Cinemas. Event Cinemas are encouraging people to engage in their social media platforms through the use of a competition with the use of the hashtag #ChocTopChallenge. This has been a clever way to get people involved and sharing about event cinemas whilst advertising their 3 social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Fanta's official Instagram
This is the official Instagram account for Fanta, which in my opinion looks really cool! All their posts form one eye catching and continuous picture as you will see in the video.
The Instagram page has great potential, with a following of 66.1K, but Fanta has not posted to Instagram since October 2015 and have failed to market themselves as well as they could. They also make no mention or posts about their new social media campaign: 'Be More Fanta'.

Be More Fanta! Campaign
The link below is a short article on Coca Cola's new social media marketing campaign for Fanta that launched early this year. The campaign is very much like #Sayitwithpepsi with the use of their 'selfie cans' and new slogan 'be more Fanta', as well as incorporating trending words and phrases, like: On point and Bae on their packaging.
